Software evolvability through targeted re-engineering

Understand existing systems. Make informed technology decisions. Build software that can evolve.

Services

All services are grounded in Living Tensor's methodology that surfaces latent domain and process knowledge through expert examination of business and technical evidence. A justified eduction map guides machine analysis and formalisation. The resulting obligations, models and specifications guide technical decisions, coding-agent implementations and checks as software evolves.

Technology assessments

Technical assessments provide judgement founded on how the software actually works. The investigation establishes the requirements relevant to the assessment and traces conclusions to evidence. The report supplies justified recommendations together with the understanding needed to examine them and inform later decisions.

Architecture and software delivery

Software design and delivery add capabilities or re-engineer systems with checks on what must be preserved. Separating requirements from the current design makes it possible to change the implementation without carrying every historical design choice forward. Architecture and implementation planning can be commissioned independently, or carried through to operation.

Agentic systems engineering

AI agents are designed, built and integrated with the client’s systems to carry out tasks. Their actions are governed by controls based on the connected systems’ actual behaviour and requirements. Software enforces those controls before actions take effect, allowing work to be delegated within agreed limits.

Coding agent workflows

Coding-agent workflows guide the first implementation and subsequent changes against agreed behavioural and design obligations. Specifications are grounded in latent domain and process knowledge and connected to the actual code when it is produced. Checks assess the agent’s designs and implementations against that foundation. Agents cannot silently rewrite the specifications to make their code pass. Intentional changes to requirements and design commitments remain under the engineering team’s control.
